Who am I
What does one do after retirement? Some people seem to be busier after they retire than when they were working. Me, I had to find something to keep me busy and stimulate my mind. I found it in a controversial way.
What I Do
Global warming is a subject that has two different sides. It is true that our planet has gone through many cycles of warming and cooling. The question is are we, human beings, influencing this rapid cycle of warming we are witnessing now. I chose to believe we are.
After I retired I became a grandfather and started to wonder what life may be like for my grandchildren. There is no doubt the technical advances they will see will be incredible but what will the planet they live on be like. So, I started to look at ways I might make a difference for them now.
I developed a passion to help us reduce our carbon footprint. Most of us believe that it is big industry that needs to reduce their emissions but each one of us also has a responsibility to curb our footprint. We all drive, a lot of us eat meat and we all take using electricity for granted.
I have found a product that helps all of us reduce our electric usage, our carbon footprint and saves us money in the process. If every household used this product we would eliminate tons of carbon from the atmosphere.
